About Us
Cass County Concerned Citizens, located in Cass County, Missouri, is an organized group of county residents that feel their rights as citizens and property owners are gradually being taken away through a variety of ordinances and zoning requirements that unnecessarily restrict their right to improve their property or engage in a lawful business.
This citizens group also feels that some of the rules negatively impact property owners of Cass County Missouri and are not needed because regulations and ordinances already cover these properties at the county and state level.
Many of our members are pet owners and totally object to the restrictions imposed on pet owners in rural and agricultural areas as well as the building requirements and special use permits required to start a business on agricultural land.
Many others are Cass County residents who feel that the current application and permit process for homes and businesses needs revision as well as a more customer oriented focus.
At present, we are working to revise pet rules and the special use permit process.
